FIXING RAILS

our highly polished brass fixing rails looking great with this custom sprayed smooth maple bookcase ladder, we adapted our fixing bracket detail to suit a similar detail on other furniture in the property. this is one of a few custom library ladders we made for the same interior, the client had multiple areas but needing different height bespoke ladders so we made each to perfectly fit each space.

a wonderful example of bespoke craftsmanship at its best, we were asked by our customer to make brackets to suit their specific profile on their timber shelving units onto which a timber ladder would be used, after much thinking we made these in aluminium first and then in brass. we also made the incredible brass finial detail from solid rod and carefully worked it until the required shape was achieved. the entire library ladder system order was finished in a lovely soft satin finish.
